In 1983 the AMA was founded by the renowned pianist, conductor and organist
ROBERT LEHRBAUMER
who is artistic director and one of the instructors of the "Altenburg Music Academy".

The AMA takes place in a deliberate small and familiar scale to ensure that all participants get a very distinguished education.
MASTERCOURSES and COURSES FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS and ADULT HOBBY-MUSICIANS are offered for piano, piano chamber music, piano and orchestra, Lied, organ, harpsichord, improvisation, guitar, body treatment.
